The D.C. Corrections Information Council (CIC) and the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia (PDS) are convening the first annual D.C. Prisoner & Reentry Symposium on Friday, March 10, 2017, at the UDC David A. Clarke School of Law. This annual event will focus on issues affecting incarceration and successful reentry.
For this first Symposium, the organizers invite all those persons who actively engage in DC prisoner and/or reentry services, policy, or advocacy. Attendees will learn from and share with mutual stakeholders and experts, and develop plans of action to address what the group considers the most pressing issues affecting D.C. prisoners and D.C. criminal justice-involved persons.
Improving positive outcomes for all justice-involved persons is improving the success and public safety of all of the District of Columbia. Let’s come together on March 10th to build a combined momentum for a better DC for all of us.
